'Shootout At Wadala' is all the rage at box office

John Abraham, Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Manoj Bajpayee are already celebrating the success of Shootout At Wadala and the reason is not hard to see. After opening on Friday with a collection of Rs. 10.10 crore, the film didn’t lose many footfalls on Saturday (Rs. 9.75 crore) and picked up on Sunday (Rs. 10.85 crore). The first weekend collection of the film stands at Rs. 30.70 crore (as predicted by ApunKaChoice in our last box office report).

The film has done particularly well in Maharashtra and Nizam.

The other release of last Friday, Bombay Talkies, trudged on at box office after a lackluster start and rounded off its first weekend at the paltry sum of Rs. 5.05 crore.

Meanwhile, Aashiqui 2 completed its first week run at theatres with Rs. 37 crore and added another Rs. 9 crore to its kitty in the second weekend. The film is a hit.

The coming Friday would see the release of Go Goa Gone and Gippi. We’ll bring you the box office openings of both films.
