In less than two years since she first made her appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 5’ in 2011, Sunny Leone has come a long way. She’s had her Bollywood debut in Jism 2, signed on a couple of projects, danced to an item song ‘Laila’, and, more than anything, found acceptance in the film industry and won many fans throughout India despite (or perhaps because of) her former status as a pornstar of some reckoning.
Today, Sunny Leone has cemented her foothold in Bollywood. She commands a good fee for the films she signs on and has shifted base full time from the US to Mumbai.
For someone who started out as an adult model and graduated to hardcore porn in the subsequent years, a foray into Bollywood is way off the trajectory. But Sunny Leone has done what once seemed improbable and we must say she’s done that with a sense of self dignity.
True, she has stuck to her hot and sensuous persona during the Bollywood stint, but won respect alongside as well.
