No retirement yet

Playing down rumours of her retirement from tennis, Sania clarifies, “I have no such plans. I still have many missions to accomplish; grabbing gold for India in the London Olympics to start with.”
Sania hopes 2011 would be a good year for her career. “I am starting the new year on a positive note. (After) finishing the last tournament (Asian Games) with a gold and a bronze, definitely my confidence level is high. God willing, things will take a good shape.”

Speaking of her hubby, Shoaib Malik, Sania says, “I have married a great person who is also a great cricketer.” She hopes Shoaib makes it back into the Pakistan squad before the start of the World Cup.

Sania feels her marriage has also brought the two countries closer. “It is in fact a marriage of two civilizations,” she remarks.

Well, be that as it may, Sania says she intends to retain her Indian nationality.

to miss other first round Slam matches on TV. Why she doesn't lose every time in the first round? Or better still retire permanently. Zero improvement in her game ever since she "arrived".
